Academic Year Planning Committee

The Academic Year Planning Committee is a committee of Academic Council with responsibility for recommending dates for academic years having regard to the Principles Governing the Structure of the Academic Year (approved by Council).

Further details of the role of the committee are set out in its constitution.

The composition of the committee is designed to provide a range of relevant expertise and advice.

The committee normally meets once in each academic year but may conduct its business by circular.
